Upcycled Skirt Throw Pillow

Give new life to a favorite old skirt or find a beautifully embellished skirt at the thrift store. Often old clothing has beautiful fabric and embellishments that make gorgeous and unique home decor throw pillows.
When I received this beautiful skirt as a hand-me-down gift I was thrilled until I realized it wouldn't fit. I was so disappointed because I'd fallen in love with the embroidered flowers. I decided to turn it into a throw pillow.
A pillow form that was the same width as skirt and in less than 20 minutes, I had a gorgeous new throw pillow for my couch.
I'm almost happy that this beautiful skirt didn't fit because I was able to turn it into a a unique home decor pillow.
