A Vintage Modern Nursery

A couple years ago, when we found out we were having another baby, I started the process of putting together a nicer, bigger nursery that would fit both our boys. Plus all the toys and stuff that comes with them. We decided to turn the current junk room into their bedroom since it had lots of built-in shelves for all the books our little readers were going to have.
This is stage two of how the room started. Stage 1 was even more horrifying. You couldn't walk in here. We moved into this house right before our first baby was born and everything we didn't know what to do with got set in here when we moved in.
During the priming stage.
The mobile over the crib was mine as a baby back in the '80's. There are many family treasures scattered around the room.
I included more meaningful items in a gallery wall, like the cross-stitch and this kindergarten handprint of my husband's.
I love how it turned out and the space functions great for the boys. You can see more before and after pictures as well as the original mood board I created for this room on my blog, Real Inspired!
