Tiny Aquaponics Fun


My daughter and son made this tiny aquaponics system (a combination of aquaculture which is fish farming - and hydroponics which is growing plants in water).The fish have their own tank and the water from the fish tank is pumped into two small growing tanks filled with plants (baby plants in this case) in a non-soil growing medium (expandable clay pellets). A pump takes the water from the fish tank and brings it up into the top plant pot (old Folgers coffee container).
