DIY Jewelry Holder!

I have one of those stand up jewelry boxes in my bedroom but since I usually get dressed in my closet I wanted my every day jewelry close, so I made a jewelry holder that also looks a bit like a decoration in my closet! Complete tutorial on the blog...
I made this cute jewelry holder to keep in my closet for the jewelry I wear the most! It looks pretty in the closet and keeps all my every-day jewelry ready to wear!
I got an old picture at Good Will and removed the tacky picture and painted the frame.
I cut plywood, felt and pretty fabric the size of the frame and used a glue gun to adhere the felt and fabric to the plywood... then use a staple gun to hold the plywood inside the frame.
Add cup hooks and threaded hooks to hang jewelry...(I used a gorgeous soft pink from Behr Paint called Bees Knees)
Wrap threaded hooks with ribbon...
The threaded hooks goes through the plywood just a bit...
The threaded hooks hold my bracelets and the cup hooks hold necklaces! Complete tutorial on my blog!

I use one of the new "velvet" hangars and hang it on whatever, it's great for those times when I have company I just grab the entire hanger and can move it to either a conspicuous or inconspicuous place all at once very convenient!
  • @Cheryl Shelton that's a GREAT idea! I love those hangers and it's helpful to be able to easily move it! ox
