With Day just around the corner, and trailing not too far behind that, this easy to make is perfect to start on now!
Here' what you'll need to make your own...
A grapevine wreath, which can be found in most craft stores for under $10. Be sure to use store coupons to make them even cheaper!
Tropical faux floral sprays. These are from Michael's Ashland "Tropical" line. I chose an accent flower (Orchids), and smaller filler (Cymbidium) to wrap around the rest of the wreath.
And the secret weapon of grapevine wreath making; Grapevine wire! This stuff makes the process so easy it's laughable!
To prep, you'll want to cut your wire into 2"-3" strips, and cut the longer stems off of the floral sprays, leaving a few inches to apply them to the wreath with. Now you are ready to start your project!
Simply place your floral spray onto the face of the grapevine wreath, starting with your larger accent flowers. Tuck the bottom stem into the wreath, and lay flowers against the wreath. Secure the spray by wrapping a section of the grapevine to the floral stem. Cut excess wire off, or tuck it in. It's up to you!
Once that is secure, apply your secondary florals (the smaller ones) to the vine, using the same method above, and be sure to secure the flowers to the wreath about every 5". That's it! Hang it up and enjoy!
