Unicorn Valentine Card Holder

I remember how fun it was when I was in elementary school to exchange Valentine's and to create a Valentine Card Holder to hold them all in. Well, that was a very long time ago. I saw a cute Unicorn box and thought how easy it would be to use small BOXES or SHOE BOXES to create this cutie pie Unicorn Valentine card holder.
Every time I look at this Unicorn card holder, I smile.
When I was at Michaels Craft Store I happened to see a photo storage box and a Valentine card holder box already in the colors I was going to use. So I used these instead of the shoe boxes. They were on sale and cost me a total of $3.66 for both. It saved me some time trying to find a little kids shoe box. But it's nice to know you can make this Unicorn by recycling shoe boxes and not having to spend much.
A few pieces of felt were added to the small box to create the details of the Unicorn face.
Check my blog for step-by-step tutorial on how to create the cutest little Unicorn! Cardboard paper tubes (paper towel or toilet paper) were used for the legs/hooves. Gold glitter paper were used to sparkle up the hooves.
I have a jar of scrap ribbon, etc that I ransacked looking for the right colors for the Unicorn tale. For more info please check my blog for all the details http://www.designdazzle.com/2016/01/unicorn-valentine-card-box/
