Chevron and burlap are all the craze these days! When you combine the two you have a beautiful, trendy piece! My creative juices got flowing and I created this super cute Chevron Burlap Wreath for my front door!

While making mine I created a picture tutorial for you to make one as well!
Wire wreath form 18" : $3.99 @ Hobby Lobby (I used 40% off coupon = $2.40)

Chevron Burlap Ribbon: $9.99 @ Hobby Lobby (I bought on sale at 50% off = $5.00)

Burlap Ribbon: $4.99 @ Hobby Lobby )I bought on sale at 50% off = $2.50)

Cotton Twine: $1.00 @ Dollar Tree

My Total = $10.90
Start with one end of the plain burlap and tuck it into one side of the wire wreath form. Leave slack and take the other end of the burlap and tuck it into the opposite side of the form. Repeat over and over again. Make sure that all of your "bubbles" have equal puff to them. Don't worry if you have to start over, I did! :-)
Since I was using a really large wire wreath form, I ran out of burlap (even though it was 15 feet). I took the chevron burlap and wrapped it around the empty spot. I then cut a piece of twine and tied it to the one side of the chevron wrap, leaving a long "tail" for the bow.

Cut a bunch of equal length pieces of twine. Take one piece of twine and place under middle wire...
Place burlap over tie, leaving slack, tie off. Repeat all of the way around the wreath, keeping the chevron in the middle of the regular burlap. Trim off twine excess.

Create bow, leaving long tails on each side. Tie off with twine - tie in the back, so you don't see the knot. (My bow has a double tail).
Fold the tails in half and cut on a diagonal going towards the folded part to create a finished look.

I attached (with twine) a letter "B" that I had bought at Hobby Lobby over a year ago (that I decorated with scrapbook paper) and hung it on the door!

I really like the way it turned out! How about you? Will you plan on making one for your front door too? I'm obsessed with wreaths, so I'm thinking that there may be a few more of these in the making for the future! :-)
