What a beautiful 'fantasy' garden. I love it. You have indeed done a lot of work and love your garden. I've never seen a woodpecker. He's beautiful. We have in Australia so many beautiful coloured birds, black cockatoos, galahs, birds of paradise with their beautiful colours (the male that is) 'wild budgies.' cockatoos with their beautiful yellow crest on their head etc.. Corellas with a pink tuft. Unfortunately we have a big problem with the Indian mynor birds. They drive the native birds out because they are so aggressive. You are not allowed to hurt them or be cruel (good), but you can get traps from the local council and they will take them away and have them euthanised by a local vet. It sounds sad but the mynors have driven out all the kookaburras, magpies, sparrows, currawongs etc..
