Need ideas for these 2 vases

I have these 2 hurricane vases that I do not know what to do with. I've decorated them at Christmas with ornaments. I've used rock & candles in them before. I like the idea of using dried beans but is that too Fall?? Anyone have any ideas?

The glass lids from jar candles should fit. Then they would be the perfect apothecary jar for cotton balls, or even candy. You could paint them with transparent glass paint, cranberry or aqua would look nice.

Make mini terrariums, if you can find tops, colored sand, marbles, etc. with flowers/faux flowers, or for something more permanent, you could mosaic them, paint a design on them, decopage them. You could also use different colored ornaments to go with different rooms, hang crystals from the top, string beads to wrap around the stem, etc. They also sell vinyl letters and sillouettes and things to adhere to it. Or decorate them with rows of rhinestones, or those stick on rhinestone designs. I have a huge puple one in my bedroom, filled about 1/4 with glass pebbles in rainbow white, green, and this purply blue, I love it. Lots of stuff, look around on Pinterest, my go to place for ideas.

I agree with Carolyn. I think they would be great on a small glass shelf in the bathroom as apothecary jars.

Buy a glass nob for each and blue to center of the bottom. Turn the vases over and use as a cloche to display seasonal pretties or keepsakes.

I think they would be beautiful made into little terrariums style planters. You can buy artificial elements like sheet moss and succulents at a craft store such as Michael's. You can switch out the succulents far tiny daffodil plants in the springtime, a little primrose plant in summer, etc. they'd look pretty placed side by side.

I like clear glass, your options are endless, fill it with color. Easter eggs, buttons, hearts, glass beads, marbles, candy, create gorgeous floral arrangements, photo cubes (my daughter found a pattern on Pinterest) worked photos of all family members into the patterns, printed, folded into. Uses, they are black and white photos one for each child, each grandchild, each family and a couple of me. It makes a stunning centerpiece and a great conversation piece. Guests are always amazed by it and I never tire of looking at it.

If you like coffee, these look pretty with coffee beans in them with a taper or small pillar candle in them. They smell wonderful when the candle is lit. I might even consider using one or both just for pretty flower arrangments.

If you like the look of the beans in them but are afraid it looks too fallish, spray paint them. They are cheap enough that you can spray them different colors for different seasons and store the out of season ones. Or, you could find a bunch of kids toys or game pieces and spray paint those and mix them in with the Dollar Tree glass beads. Or you can go to Dollar Tree and pick up a couple clear pencil vases and put a vase inside each hurricane vase and fill with glass beads or aquarium gravel and fill with a small flower bouquet.

I like all of the above! I have one that I change with each season. Most of the time it is pot pourii, sticks and rocks the grandkids bring, pine cones in the fall, adding spiders at Halloween, such a fun piece to play with.

Fill them with faux lemons or limes for your kitchen counter. Or fill them with corks from wine bottles. Take a thin point sharpie and write the date and special event on it. Or full one third with sand and sit a candle in it.

My sister-in-law made angels as Christmas gifts this year and I love mine! Turn the vases upside down, add a couple of matching pickle dishes for wings, a small glass for the head and a small candle holder for a halo. It won't let me attach a picture, sorry. Get yourself some acrylic paint mint or light blue whatever color you like. Grab a paper doily and tape onto glass where ever the pattern looks good to you. Sponge paint remove paper bake in 275 degree oven for 30 min. now you can wash it.

Where do you plan to put them? I have one of these in my kitchen that houses a giant, arching orchid plant. I've also used oversized jars to house paper hearts, origami cranes, french wine corks, and even stuffed a string of Christmas lights into one and put it on the mantel place to light up at night! The possibilities are almost endless...
