DIY Fall Scented Diffuser

One Broads Journey
by One Broads Journey
Are you one of those people who has secretly been stocking up on Fall scented candles all year, just waiting for October to come around so you can nonchalantly light them all? No judgement here. I’ve done it for years. But this year I realized my candle stash is now packed up in boxes. (Que sad violin song) I can’t fully embrace Fall without the wondrous scent of cinnamon, clove and citrus! So prior to having a lack of delicious smells melt down, I decided to create my own DIY Fall Scented Diffuser. It was so quick and easy, much more decorative than candles, and I used little things from around the house to make it. So keep your candle stash for next year and place these beautiful scent diffusers around your home. Then breath deeply.
Collect essential oils, wood sticks, decorative pieces, cinnamon sticks, and filtered water.
Combine all the ingredients.
Use your new DIY as beautiful home decor!

I read your detailed blog about this, but couldn't find the size of the bottle you used, which would have helped me determine how much water you used along with the other measured ingredients. Your list of ingredients didn't say how many ounces of water. Help!

What makes this smell like vanilla? I don't see anything in the list....

Why on earth didn't the author list the amount of water and oil needed?

Sounds like a good idea...for next year as I'll have to collect essential oils, reeds, etc. I love nutmeg, clove, cinnamon and vanilla scents, too.
