How to put some small items in a shadow box without gluing???
-
Mary Insana on Apr 24, 2013I had some vintage jewelry to put in a shadow box and also didn't wan to glue them in. I covered a piece of cardboard with velvet(I like the look of velvet with vintage items) After I decided where to put the items I used a large needle to poke 2 holes fairly close to each other through the velvet and cardboard. At this point use either a matching color of heavy thread or very thin elastic and thread it through the holes and tie in the back, you can now hang the clips on the thread or elastic. You can also "sew" the thread through the clips to secure them on tight. Hope you can follow my directions :)Helpful Reply
