Boy's Shared Bedroom - Coastal Camp Style
When we moved our boys into then same bedroom we wanted to create an amazing space for them that they would love hanging out in as well as sleeping in. We went with a nautical camp theme for their rooms and created their space on a very low budget using all kinds of creative DIY projects. One of my favourite DIYs in this room is their planked wall. I love the fresh crisp texture it adds to the space!
I made these book display shelves with my Dad to hold their books -perfect for keeping them close at hand. They are a Pottery Barn Kid's knockoff and cost a fraction of the retail price. Both of our boys have become awesome readers and I think it is party because we have made books such a prominent feature in their early lives.
