I need ideas for making a wreath using men's cowboy boots. I want to attach the boots side by side, stuff them with paper in the toe area, and then Styrofoam cone. Then I'll add some greenery and small silk wild flowers...I need ideas for something to use at the back of boots to attach to hanger for the door...ANY IDEAS????

Use any kind of wreath, covered with whatever, then place the boots on the bottom rung of it and have flowers "growing out of" and flowing onto the wreath.

If the boots have a pull loop on the back top you could thread a wire through and use that as the hanger. This would eliminate using an actual wreath. Use a pool noodle cut to length to make the boot stable and insert silk flowers or natural elements like succulents, moss, etc in the opening of each boot. I'd use a piece of tooled leather lacing as an accent in place of a bow. Sounds like an interesting piece... I would love to work on something like this!

Western boots are heavy in nature, so you would need to secure it to wood. How about attaching them to a piece of reclaimed wood plank(s), attached the boots at the top back and the heel, fill with styrofoam and decorate with silk plants. Use the toe of foot for hat/coat hanging.

I would get some old horseshoes and have them welded into an arch or circle with hooks to attach the boots. Then go from there with your personal ideas.

I use a 18" straw wreath ,drill 2 holes in back of boot, place a piper cleaner from inside wrap around wreath, also I place a strand of bar-wire on wreath. Fill your boot with sty for dries. I used pampas grass for filler( Fluffy)
