Valentine's Gift Idea- For Him

Hey y'all! I hope you're doing good and aren't too hungover from your Super Bowl festivities!
Since I'm a Cowboys fan and Corey is a Redskins fan (ew) neither one of us felt the need to go all out for the Super Bowl this year.
We're also boring responsible adults and have to be at work today.
Somehow in between stuffing my face with all the buffalo dip I could get my hands on I managed to get this Valentine's post together to share with y'all today!
Before I get into all the details, the last couple years I've done the "14 Days of Valentine's for Him". (You can see the previous posts via Hometalk) It was fun, but honestly it's a lot to put together.
I still wanted to do something special for ole Core Dog this year, so instead of coming up with 14 different printables and all that mess I decided to put a little something together with all his favorites. I hope this idea inspires you to do something sweet for your honey, and I've provided a list at the bottom of the post to let you know where everything is from!
So a little backstory on this oak stool...

I was originally looking for an old wooden toolbox to put Corey's goodies in because he's a diesel mechanic, he likes tools, and when Valentine's Day was over with I figured I could use it to put flowers in or something.

On my way home this past week I stopped in a local antique store to see what they had to offer. They had a cool, old toolbox but it was painted red and since I was looking for a piece I could use after Valentine's Day that wouldn't work because the color red ain't really my thang.

So, I patiently waited for the weekend and began my long search on Saturday. I went by two antique shops within twenty minutes of the casa, neither of which had anything remotely close to what I was looking for. The last place I knew of I had never been in before, but it's huge so I figured they had to have something. After almost settling on a dirty fruit crate I went past the booth that had this baby. For some reason, it spoke to me and even though it is not a toolbox I knew it would look really cute on the dining room table after Valentine's Day.
