do you recommend a company to remove wallpaper and paint?

I would do it myself as its not really that hard of a job to do. With the right tools, some time it can be done quite successfully by the home owner. If you need advice on how simply do a search on top for wall paper removal. There has been dozens of comments on how to do this successfully.

Matilda, I agree with Woodbridge here that this is something that you might attempt yourself. We are here to guide you through it if needed. However, if you want to have a professional do it, here is a listing of painters in your area: http://www.hometalk.com/?industry%5B%5D=48&zip=30062&search=contractor Both HandyAndy and Peace Painting are quite active here and really seem to know their stuff. I would check with them first. Both are near the top of that list.
