Spinning Lace & Trim Organizer From Vintage Wooden Candlesticks

Easy
When I found this set of candlesticks at the thrift store, I immediately thought they looked like spindles/bobbins. So I decided to repurpose them into an organizer for my lace ribbon...AND turned it into a spinning lazy Susan at the same time!
So here's what I started with...and unusual set of candlesticks attached to the same base.
Before I turned it into an organizer, I decided to first turn it into a lazy Susan.
With a small oval plaque, some wood stain, and a lazy Susan bearing, it became the perfect spinning piece!
NOW I could add my lace & trim! To help them stay in place on each stick, I added a few rubber bands...
Then...I simply wound my lace onto each candlestick and then pinned it in place.
Depending on the length of the candlestick, I could add different trimmings- and used the carved out ruts to my advantage until it was all filled up.
How perfect is that?? It spins beautifully and is functional yet pretty enough to use as decor. Thrift store gold!
