A Valentine's Day Tablescape & Romantic Heart Centerpiece of Red Roses

Tablescapes are probably one of my favorite things to create and a Valentine's Day tablescape full of love and romance is just make my heartbeat thinking about it's creation. If only I had more money to spend on new dinnerware and accessories the variations would be as high as the sky, but I don't! So, I rotate, mix and match and create some DIM's (do it myself's) to make a new looks.
Here is a peek from my blog post of the red, white and black, layered place setting that's waiting for our special day. Red rose petals for place mats and hand stamped white satin ribbons, holding flatware in place. All together they make the presentation a "ten" in my eyes ;)
The centerpiece just had to have a lot of red and some candles, so the center is a white, vintage compote holding a tall pillar and roses tucked in all around.
A copy of the place mats, that form the shape of a heart, is filled with glass votives arranged all around, with a white flowing ribbon that is strategically placed!
Sentimental additions were made to set the tone for the very sentimental occasion. Wishing you all happiness and love on this Valentine's day and hope that you spot this post in time to give you a few ideas for your own celebration!
