Medicine Cabinet Makeover
Even the medicine cabinet isn't exempt from getting a makeover at our house! I have a mirrored metal cabinet that I love, but what I don’t love is that the metal parts of the cabinet rust due to the moisture near the sink and from the bottles stored.
It looks gorgeous and clean here, but let's take a look at where we started.
Yuck! Look at all of that rust! I didn't want to make this a huge project, but I needed to do something so I decided to just remove the rust and repaint.
I started by emptying the cabinet and the area around it. I took out all the shelving and washed each piece thoroughly.
Then, I sanded down the metal shelf with sandpaper. and repainted.
I also attached a magnetic strip on the door so that I could corral my safety pins and bobby pins.
Once the paint dried, I put back the shelving components and put back all of my products in the cabinet. It was an easy makeover but made a big impact in the space!
