DIY Personalized Cooking Utensils

These DIY Personalized Cooking Utensils are so easy to make! Perfect for a bridal shower, housewarming or birthday gift.
This DIY gift idea can be made in minutes with just a few supplies! Anyone who loves to cook will enjoy receiving these cute utensils.
You will need wooden utensils (you can buy these at Wal-mart or even the Dollar Tree), a pencil and paint pens. Paint pens are permanent, so these utensils can be gently hand washed.
Begin by sketching out your designs using a pencil. I made these utensils for my sister-in-law for a Christmas gift, so for one design I used their last initial since she LOVES anything monogrammed.

You can get as creative as you like! I'm not much of an artist, so I stuck to simple designs like hearts and squiggles. You can also make bigger designs that take up more of the handle if you like.
To finish up your utensils, color in your design using the paint pens. Be sure to let them dry completely before touching them or moving them around!
