Faux Galvanized Metal Wreath

I love the rustic farmhouse look of galvanized metal, and had recently purchased a book of galvanized metal crafts so that I could fill my house with them. ;) The first project that caught my eye was a wreath made with metal end caps used on vent tubing. When I priced the metal end caps at my local hardware store, I decided to create a faux version.
I purchased 7 PVC pipe end caps for under $10, and a particle board wreath form from the craft store.
I used several layers of paint to create a faux galvanized metal finish on the plastic end caps.
And a different paint combo on the wreath.

Great idea, could use old cake pans which would make it much larger.

Oh so pretty! I love that this is perfect for winter decor. I like keeping with the winter theme after Christmas :)
