Luis, are you sure you want a masonary fireplace? There are so many nice unmasonary ones today.
I pay 3-5k for masonary fireplaces in new homes.. Seems you will also need a general contractor in the mix too, for a masonary fireplace.
You might consider a gas or unmasonary fireplace. HVAC companies like "Ampomor", can help you with these.
From an efficiency stand point a free standing wood stove will provide much more heat per unit of wood burned.
