DIY Wallpaper Lined Drawers

One Broads Journey
by One Broads Journey
You know when you get a box in the mail, that feeling of first opening it to reveal whatever gem may lie inside? Wallpapering the inside of drawers is that same feeling… but every time you open them! This DIY wallpaper lined drawers project is so simple yet gives such great results. Never underestimate the power of a color pop.
And the best thing about this wallpaper is as soon as you change your mind, you can take it off. This isn’t a 70s project when in three months you change your mind and have to take spray bottles and that round scratcher thing to it. Nope, just simple water activated wallpaper at your DIYing fingertips...
Materials: Removable wallpaper, measuring tape, scissors, bath of water, drawers
Wipe out drawers so there is no dust or anything to prevent wallpaper from sticking. Cut wallpaper to drawer sizes.
Dip wallpaper in water and let sit for 2 minutes. Lay into drawers.
Gorgeous wallpaper lined drawers!

I don't have wallpaper, but I have some great wrapping paper. Is there a way I can line my drawers with gift wrapping paper? Tia

Love it! I recently moved from my beloved home of over 50 years. I took all of the leftover wallpaper and lined the dresser drawers in my new downsized house with it__ even the cute nursery paper from my children's rooms. Every time I open a drawer it brings back happy memories. Since my furniture is mostly antiques, I put it in the drawers dry and it works perfectly.

This is a really cute idea! I’m definitely going to be doing this in my kitchen to match the newly painted cabinets! Thanks!
