Ever since I shared how to make Denim Yarn from Old Jeans, I've been getting requests for a project made with the denim yarn. Now, a more advanced crocheter than I am would probably come up with a cool denim purse or fabulous crochet vest but I'm just a beginner so you get trivets lol.
I am planning to crochet a rug with denim yarn very soon which is basically the same pattern, you just keep crocheting til the rug is the size you want. But first, let me show you how to crochet denim trivets.

First, you need to make some denim yarn from old jeans. A great way to recycle!
Then, you just crochet round and a round and a round.
Here are the undyed, denim yarn trivets. I dyed a couple of them just for some variety but you don't have to.
