Easy Kid Friendly Party Popper

What can you make with a balloon and a cup that will make your kids jump for joy? This easy kid friendly party popper. Seriously this is all it takes, my kids can't get enough of this popper.

I started with a small plastic up and balloon. I cut a hole in the bottom of the cup then I cut the top off the balloon and stretched it over the bottom of the cup.

I tied a knot in the balloon and added some washi tape for decoration. This party popper will work just fine without the washi tape, I just like the way it looked.

Then I filled it with some confetti (I save my paper scraps and look they came in handy!) and started popping. All you do is hold the cup, then pull back the balloon and let it go. Confetti everywhere. The best part is my kids run and pick up all the confetti so they can do it again, it's pretty amazing.

I have a fun little video in the post below of this popper in action. You can also see photos of every step if you need further clarification. But seriously these are so easy to make and your kids will love them! Happy crafting!
