Take Your Bedroom From Drab To Delightful

A blue and white color scheme is a very common combination for a bedroom, but throwing in a sophisticated wall pattern using our stencils takes the scheme from basic to unique. Wall stencils are an easy and affordable way to customize your space.
Let's take a closer look at the master bedroom makeover using the Entwined Allover Stencil that will have you dreaming of your own stencil projects!

Meet Stacy Naquin, the designer behind Stacy Naquin Interiors and blogger from Baton Rouge, Louisiana sharing her creativity on Southern Chic. Ever since we spotted her glamorous looking bedroom in HGTV Magazine, we've been in awe of her decorating skills.
You have to agree that bedroom is gorgeous. Well that wasn't always the case and Stacy shares her decorating journey on the House of Turquoise. She comments, "I'd love to tell you that this space is a Client's bedroom (with really bad taste), but the truth is...it was my first home and master bedroom." Here is the before:
This bedroom didn't fit Stacy's personalty or decor style so a makeover was a must! She knew she wanted an accent wall behind the bed and stencils are the perfect way to add a splash of pattern to a space. Stacy browsed our online stencil collection and fell in love with the Entwined Allover Stencil. It's a sophisticated allover wall pattern with a feminine and fluid feeling.
First she painted the walls using Benjamin Moore Intense White OC-51, a soft white. To achieve the wallpaper look, she stenciled the geometric pattern in metallic silver using Folk Art Silver Sterling Metallic. The subtle shimmer of the stencil pattern accentuates the simple white bedding and soft blue accents.
Stacy says, “Bold graphic patterns used to be the exception, but now they are the rule. Even those homeowners who haven’t historically liked pattern are finding ways to incorporate it into their homes.”
Stacy painted her own wall art using a blank canvas and acrylic paints.
