Recycling concrete driveways into a beautiful rock garden wall.

One of my directors at the community garden constructed this rock wall using reclaimed driveways. She did this all by herself. Makes me tired just thinking about all the work. What a great way to save concrete from going to the landfill.

My back hurts just thinking of this, but the result looks terrific and it's so great that all that material didn't end up in a landfill.

Its a lot of hard work lugging cement but look at the results. This kept a lot out of the landfill. Its reuse, reduce and recycle here.

My next project, I think. I have a 4-1/2' by 6' stack of broken concrete BEGGING to be used. My back, however, is also begging ~ don't even THINK about it! lol
