  • Bop your hubby with the other side so it bends back? We wet ours and place a nylon stocking on it. Once it dries we leave the stocking on it and only expose about six inches of the working end. No more issues with warp. Be sure to hang it or turn it onto the handle when not using so the straw does not bend from sitting on floor.

I don't understand why you put a stocking on it? So should I cut some off to the unbent portion? and start over?
  • The stocking keeps the broom stiff so it does not bend as much. As they age then tend to warp over. The stocking helps prevent that from happening.

Soak it in hot salt water over night , use the tub..then take it out shake the water out of it and hang it by its staff. It will dry straight. The warm water and salt will make the straw more flexible, Hanging it up will let gravity straighten it. Its a good way to clean the bristles also, just shake it in the warm salt water once a week and hang it up.
