Toddler Batmobile

$10
Easy
Turn a Little Tikes car into the Batmobile. Just a little paint made an old toy into something any Bat-loving toddler would love to drive around.
We started by taking a few parts off and covering other parts that we didn't want any paint on, like the wheels.
We used Rustoleum Universal paint in silver and black, because it works on plastic without a primer. We first painted the accents parts silver, then taped those parts off and painted the rest a matte black.
To add the Bat logo on the front and side, we made our own stencil with masking tape, wax paper, and a printed image of the Bat logo.
With the masking tape stencil on the car, we painted the Bat logo with yellow acrylic paint and a small paint brush.
To up the coolness, we added silver PVC tail pipes on the back and painted the inside red, to look like fire.
My toddler loved his Batmobile so much, that he spent all day driving and sitting inside, evening eating lunch in there.

I did this some time ago...actually got some super stickers online and added neat lights. I used the same paint and had issues with the paint scraping off. Even tried redoing it with primer first still had issues so beware and keep paint on hand for retouching.
