Typical small rental bathroom
I have the same problem most renters have. A very small bathroom. Lately I have been in such a slump. Walls are closing in, everything seems dark and drab. I need some color! I would love some input on ways I can spice up my bathroom without doing my landlord's job of renovation. Anyone?

Well, repainting with a light color might help open the room up and make it appear larger to the eye.

Melissa, I have a series on my blog about rental decorating tips: http://www.carnationsandcactus.com/2013/02/do-you-rent-tips.html#links, one in particular refers to ideas for the bathroom, but my first suggestions would be to pick a shower curtain and towels in colors you love so that when you go in there you feel good, regardless of the size.

A bright or bold shower curtain can add a lot of character that is super easy to do. Does your lease allow you to paint?
