Any ideas of what to do with 50 year old tablecloths that my grandmother gave to me?

One is about 3 feet square, red and white checked. The other is about 4x3 and floral.

Are they in good shape? If not, you might think about piecing them together in sort of a patchwork-quilt style and making a single tablecloth with them. And/or you can do table napkins if only parts of them are salvageable. You could also make some curtains or valances, pillows...

So it is of obvious sentiment ,how about cutting them up and making pillows with the fabric.

You could use the fabric from the tablecloths to sew aprons and gift them to any relatives who might also enjoy a remembrance of Grandma.
