Garden Archway, from old doors

I made this garden archway, I used 3 old doors and one old shutter closet door. We had old paint kicking around so this project was completely free to build. I used edging that was on the one door for cross supports, and the old hinges were reused as well.

How are you preventing it from falling over if it's very windy? I really love the idea!!

You could probably add a 4x4 and mount to the doors that make up the sides and dig a hole and set them in concrete. If you are worried about hurricane force winds.

Wow! There must not be much wind in Florida. I totally “get” that question.

While I don’t think I’d want anything as permanent as concrete for this, I do think I’d attach some metal stakes to the bottom that could be sunk into the ground.
