Spring Flower Quilt

this all started when Kristina had a coworker ask for a memory quilt (Memory Quilt Finished) for her grandmother using some of her grandfathers shirts. For my practice quilts, I had sorted through our scraps and made three piles of semi coordinated scraps. Under Sea was one, this one, Spring Flower Quilt, was the 2nd pile.
I decided on a strip quilt so cut the cloth in 2.5 in wide strips then sewed them together in one looonnnnngggggg strip.
Next bring the two ends together, sew along one side to the end, snip that fold and finish sewing the sides.
Repeat the previous step, bringing up the end and sewing down the sides until you have the length you want.
I ended up taking cutting my quilt top into squares then sewed those squares together at an angle. I ended up with this cool quilt for an AG doll or newborn. For full details visit our full tute at our blog.
