We often get asked whether we can repair rotted wooden window sashes...HandyANDY can!
A recent client had a rotted lower window sash...and everyone told him he either had to buy a new window. The interior finish was stained to match the room. We cut out the rotted portion of the frame & pieced in new wood. Takes a little skill to make the repair but it sure beats the price of new windows: http://youtu.be/DiqGbj6RA1k

Looks like the house was built after 1978, otherwise you would have had to follow RRP guidelines. Good job!
