You need a really good pair of scissors. Try kitchen shears.

Plastic cutting scissors I know the look small but several DIY projects for CD recycling mention them - say you can even cut curves. What you going to do?

I have stamped on them and turned them into pins. But first I heat the CD with my heat gun. Cuts much easier when it is warm.

If you boul them first you can cut shapes ehile they are warm. Be sure to separate the clear side from the halgraphic side first to make the process a lot easier.

If you have a Band Saw, use the smallest (1/4) Blade you can get with the most teeth (TPI). It SHOULD work. I've used it for other plastics and it works fine.

Try using a glass cutter. It gently rolls a blade over the CD. You have to roll it several times until you can hold both sides and snap it apart.

Heat...heat them up in a toaster oven or use a heat gun. A wood burning tool works also.
