I am looking for suggestions of NC Native Herb Furits, and flowering plants and shrubs, to attract Butterflys, or Bees.

If any ine has suggestions, of any oft the above. I am looking for plants and shrubs, that will have some size to them, at leat 2 feet tall. Also, I need perrenials Thank you.

I currently only have 6 Butterfly Bushes, 12 Blueberries bushes, 2 alzelas, 2 Burnning Bushes. And ecpet for the Blueberries, all wer saved from a dumpster!! Recycle plants.

Also check out this excellent brochure from the North Carolina Cooperative Extension Service on "Landscaping for Wildlife with Native Plants." It lists everything from perennials through large trees and gives soil moisture and light requirements as well as wildlife value. There is also a list of sources (other than dumpsters). http://www.ncsu.edu/goingnative/ag636_03.pdf

City of Phoenix puts out a book with native plants and I think most cities do.
