The first thing to do is to cut out all the diseased foliage and clean up all fallen leaves around the plants. Make sure your plants are not getting any overhead irrigation. Then you'll have to put them on a fungicide, which you'll have to apply every 7 to 10 days, more often when it rains. Depending on your aversion to such products, you could start with a copper product or sulfur dust, but you may have to move up to something stronger. For specific recommendations and more cultural guidelines, see this from the University of Maine extension service: http://umaine.edu/ipm/ipddl/publications/5097e/ If this becomes a persistent problem, you may need to remove the roses and plant black spot-resistant varieties: http://www.ppdl.purdue.edu/ppdl/weeklypics/3-22-04.html
