Yes this is a picture of wood landscape edging. And I will show you how to make the cutest little bunny. I take one log off the plastic holding them all together and here comes Peter Cotton Tail.
I gathered up my supplies and got to work. This particular edging was rough so I sanded it smooth. Then I remove the plastic from the log itself by wriggling it up and pulling it out with pliers. Put it aside as this will become the eyelashes.
I painted the edging and the 2" wood ovals, and 3/8" wood circles in white craft paint along with a little wood button. Then I painted the top of the wood button pink. The 1" wood ovals, were also painted pink. Next I mixed a little bit of white paint into some pink to paint the 3/4" circle.
Cut 4 pieces of embroidery floss about 3" long. These are the whisker's. Take one piece and tie around the remaining pieces. Glue on the back of the button.
I cut the black plastic to size and fridged and glued to the white circles. Add wriggle eyes.
This picture shows how you glue the pink ovals on the white ones for the ears. They are inserted and glued in the slot where the plastice was. The pink circles are the cheeks.
Draw a bunny mouth under the nose in either a black sharpie or paint it on.
Glue on the tail and you have a cute little bunny. For more detailed instructions and a materials list please visit www.shoppeno5.com
