I love the spring season. The warmer weather and seeing everything coming back to life outside. So when I was working on coming up with a project for the spring season I decided to create some art for my home using moss, bringing the green that is coming to life outside into our home.
To create the moss art you will need the following:

*Word of your choice printed on computer paper

*Chalk

*Ballpoint pen

*Cardboard

*Moss (in sheet form is easiest to work with)

*Scissors

*Hot Glue Gun
Begin by rubbing a layer of the chalk on the backside of your computer paper. Then place the paper, chalk side down, onto the cardboard. Trace the word with the ball point pen.
Once the word has been transferred to the cardboard cut it out.
Lay the cardboard word down onto the sheet of moss and cut out the moss, leaving about a half inch extra all the way around.
Using the hot glue gun, glue the edges of the moss to the backside of the cardboard. Once your word is completed you can display it on its own, or mount it to a canvas. I had an old cupboard door in my shed and decided to glue the word onto the door. Love the way it turned out!
