Flower Seed Packets Home Sign
While I'm somewhat impatiently waiting for Spring to arrive outdoors, I decided I could welcome it indoors with a sign blooming with Spring freshness.
The inspiration for my sign were these vintage French seed packets. I created a collage using 12 of the seed packets to use as the background for my sign (the free printable is available here - http://knickoftime.net/2016/03/flower-seed-packets-home-sign.html
I made a simple wood frame and stained it. Also needed were some chunky wood letters from the craft store.
I printed the collage as an engineering print at the print shop, then decouped it to a piece of scrap wood to fit on the back of the frame then screwed the wooden letters across the center.
At the bottom of the frame I attached two small hooks to hang some mini galvanized buckets, and now my kitchen is bursting with all the colors and freshness we love about springtime! Visit me at Knick of Time for the full tutorial and free printable.
