Read on to find out how, and to see more amazing before and after photos.
Wipe Out Messy Green Algae

Green algae is a simple plant that grows in moist, partially shaded areas. It can grow on your roof, driveway, vinyl siding, fence, deck, and many other outdoor surfaces. If left unchecked, green algae can even take over the whole north side of your home, like what happened to Jeff in Cape Cod, MA. Yuck!

Wet & Forget Outdoor wipes out green algae with no scrubbing, bleaching or pressure washing needed. Better yet, it keeps green algae away for a year or more in most cases. No more dragging out the pressure washer, no more killing the lawn or damaging your home with harsh chemicals, and no more cleaning the same area over and over! You’ve got better things to do.
Annihilate Awful Black Algae

Black algae is green algae’s tougher cousin. Black algae has a protective capsule that gives it its dark color and protects it from the elements, which makes this ugly growth able to thrive even under direct sunlight. Black algae will make sooty or rusty-looking streaks on your roof, and can stain your sidewalk, porch or driveway a streaky black (see photo above).

Wet & Forget Outdoor works with the wind and rain over time to penetrate black algae’s protective capsule, eliminate the growth, and keep it away for a year or more in most cases with no scrubbing, bleaching or pressure washing needed. Wet & Forget Outdoor can make even the blackest algae-stained concrete look like new. Can you guess which family in the photo above uses Wet & Forget Outdoor?
Eliminate Ugly, Destructive Moss

Moss is a green, carpet-like simple plant that grows in damp, partially-shaded areas. While moss might look scenic on the side of al old log in the forest, it can wreak real havoc on your home’s outside surfaces. Moss can take over your roof, deck, bricks, driveway, and just about any other surface it can grab onto. And once moss’s tiny root-like structures grab on, they don’t want to let go, making moss difficult to get rid of and causing permanent pitting on some surfaces. Moss can really spell disaster for your roof, where it can grow underneath and between shingles and knock them out of place, and make asphalt shingles lose their protective granules.

Stop moss in its tracks and protect your property with Wet & Forget Outdoor. Wet & Forget Outdoor kills moss and causes its root-like structures to release their grip, so that you can remove it with a gentle brushing or allow the rain to wash it away. Wet & Forget Outdoor won’t corrode your home’s downspouts like bleach and other caustic chemicals can, and you won’t have to worry about accidentally tearing a shingle loose with the pressure washer. Just spray and walk away to defeat moss and keep it away for a year or more in most cases. It’s that easy!
Conquer Stubborn Lichen

Lichen is a scaly double-layer organism that can grow on pretty much any outdoor surface, even glass. Lichen is so hardy that it’s been found in climates ranging from Death Valley to Antarctica. Once lichen gets a hold on outdoor surfaces around your home, it can be pretty hard to get rid of. Scaly lichen is also a common problem on headstones, and can make them completely illegibile (see photo above). Bleaching can damage many surfaces and still leave lichen behind, pressure washing is a pain and only gets rid of lichen short-term, and scraping lichen off your roof or walkway is a painstaking process that can do more harm than good.

If you need to do battle with lichen, Wet & Forget Outdoor is the best weapon to have in your arsenal. Wet & Forget Outdoor penetrates both of lichen’s layers, kills the organism, causes it to release its grip, and prevents it from coming back for a year or more in most cases. Battle won!
Zap Disgusting Mold and Mildew

“Mold and mildew” is a term we use for a slimy, smelly fungal growth that thrives in damp, shaded spots. Mold and mildew can turn your comfy outdoor furniture cushions into stained, musty-smelling messes, leave stone slimy and gross (see photo above) and make your deck dangerously slippery. Bleaching furniture cushions can ruin their color and even eat fabric fibers and cause holes. Pressure washing is a pain, and only removes mold and mildew temporarily, leaving plenty of water behind to start the growth cycle all over again.

Break out of the cycle! Wet & Forget Outdoor works with the wind and rain to safely remove mold and mildew and keep it away for a year or more in most cases. Judy had tried nearly everything to remove the black mold on her awning, and thought she would have to buy another awning until she tried Wet & Forget Outdoor. If you’re sick of outdoor mold and mildew, let Wet & Forget Outdoor wipe it out for you! For indoor mold and mildew, check out new Wet & Forget Indoor Mold + Mildew Disinfectant Cleaner.

Just Spray and Walk Away!

Zapping these ugly growths and revving up your spring cleaning with Wet & Forget Outdoor couldn’t be easier. Simply:

Mix 1 part Wet & Forget Outdoor with 5 parts water in a pump-up style garden sprayer.

Spray the affected area with the diluted Wet & Forget when the surface is dry and the temperature is above 32 degrees Fahrenheit. Allow 4 to 5 hours’ drying time before the threat of rain, or before the temperature will dip below freezing.

Walk away, and let Wet & Forget Outdoor do the work for you!

Re-treat once a year, or at the first sign of re-growth.

To remove moss, be sure to saturate the moss thoroughly to allow the solution to reach the moss’s root-like structures. For lichen, follow these special instructions. To remove mold and mildew from outdoor furniture cushions, follow these instructions.
