Simple Spring Mantel in 5 Easy Steps

Our mantel needed an update for spring (the after-Christmas music sheet wreath can only work for so long...) and I was craving a simplified look that would showcase seasonal flowers. Here are the 5 steps I took to update the mantel for spring that works for any season!
A neutral color scheme of black and white lets the colorful daffodils stand out and the green ivy topiaries add more spring color.

This wide shot shows how I left the bookcase tops bare so the focus is totally on the mantel - and those gorgeous spring flowers!
