Anyone have experience with Dupont laminate flooring? I got a great deal on it and plan to put in lakehouse.

It will go on concrete slab so not sure if I need to use some special waterproof and insulating subflooring? Also heard not to use in kitchen or bath as water will cause bottom to disintegrate!

At minimum, you need to put down a 6-mil vapor barrier sheet under the flooring and underlayment. I have seen laminate flooring in a house that was flooded. You're right. All the woody material underneath the laminate veneer expands or disintegrates and is totally unusable.
