Need to find out what these little brown bugs are and how to kill them

Anybody know what these little, oval, dark brown tiny bugs are I keep finding in my kitchen and bathroom? They don't fly and they are very slow. Any ideas what they are (they resemble fruit flies) and how to get rid of them???
