Cottage style house is pale yellow...dk. green shutters, full glass storm door and roof..What colr would you paint the main wooden door?......Right now it's white

I would keep it white and add some pops of color using potted flowers, hanging baskets , a pretty garden flag or a wreath on the door.

I'm thinking burnt orange, or a plum would look nice, it does in this cube :)

I think a rusty orange would look nice to compliment your other colors.

I think a beautiful blue green, dark blue green would be beautiful and it would bring out the green in your shutters and highlight the yellow of the house. Good luck no matter what you pick!

I'd go with the same color as the shutters. You really don't want more than two different colors on a house--starts to look circus-y with more than that.

You can use a color wheel to help but my suggestion is to use shades of one of the colors you have on the house this makes a nice distinction and shows shape and style more than a different color. Like a darker yellow could show off details on the door or a lighter green could Also adding white around a color can change the two colors too.
