I need a great makeup mirror Any suggestions?

I want to sit down to apply makup I have a new dressing table but am having trouble with getting the right mirror---one on a stand. Lighted or unlighted magnification? how much?

    You could find a mirror and make a frame out of picture frames (painted) and hinged together to sit on your table. Another idea is to use shutters as frames hinged together with the mirror tiles attached to the fronts of the shutters -
