Paint color and cabinet pulls

I have light oak cabinets and white appliances. I would like to paint the walls and get cabinet pulls. I was thinking that oyster bay would look nice on the walls and silver pulls.

Rely on your own taste to have a kitchen where you are happy to work. There are several options you can use for selecting the color for the walls. First, would be to pick a color that is already there. If your counter tops are multicolored like a granite or faux granite you could pick one of those. Second, you could pick a color that complements the main color in the room. Third, you could pick your "happy" color. One that makes you smile to see. Fourth, you could actually do diagonal, horizontal or vertical stripes in various widths that use the colors already in the room This last one looks great and ties everything together. Silver pulls are always a good choice. If you are going to go with Oyster Bay from Sherwin Williams you did pick a beautiful and soothing color and one my friend used in her bathroom. It looks gorgeous.

I personally would take a color from the floor and countertops . You can also if this is a style you would consider paint an accent wall with a darker color and the balance in a lighter shade or vice versa. Painting it that way makes a nice statement in a home. my opinion.

Get the color paint you like in a sample size. Paint a couple areas in the room to see how the color looks in different room lighting as well as how is complements the woodwork. Knobs and pulls aren't can try a few styles and then choose what you like best and return the others.
