OMG I'd be banging my head against the wall if my husband did that! If you paid to have that done, call them back and have them fix it immediately. A new higher curved and elongated neck faucet would be a better choice. I think you need some tea and a piece of cheesecake! Blessings to you and good luck.

My daughter bought faucet extenders, so her small kids can wash their hands more easily. It brings the stream out maybe 6" closer, and also helps water not splash back on the countertop. (Don't you hate a wet countertop around the faucet?) She ordered them online for about $7 each.
