DIY Spring Succulent Centerpiece

I needed a new centerpiece for spring, but I instead of using artificial flowers, I decided to go with natural materials, instead. So, I made this DIY spring succulent centerpiece. It was super easy and only took a few minutes to put together!
For the base, I went with my trusty DIY wood planter box that my Hubby and I made last year. These are very easy to make and distress, but if you don't want to make your own, I've been seeing similar ones in the craft stores and hardware stores. I also used need newspaper, succulents, moss and pine cones.
First, I watered the succulents, and then I lined the box with old newspaper to prevent any stains. Then, I added the plants and topped them with the moss to cover the containers. This part is very messy, so I did this outside, with the help of one of my trusty assistants!
Finally, I stuck a few pine cones around the succulents. This just adds a little extra color and sticks with the natural theme. Besides, I love pine cones, and I use them year round for decoration!
This only took about 5 minutes to put together, and it's very easy to maintain. And, I love the way it looks!
