Foam Core, Fabric, Letters and Paint = Easter Art

Easy
I needed something new for my Easter mantle, something large and simple.
This was an easy project, that makes a beautiful statement.
Here is the brief rundown of what I did, for more details visit my blog.
- I purchased a large foam core board from Hobby Lobby.

- I knew I wanted my letters to be gold and white, so after I decided not to do those letters on a pallet, I hunted for my fabric, keeping that in mind.

- After finding my fabric I glued it to my foam core using ModPodge, of course!
- I painted my letters white.
I made sure I liked where this was going...
- I lined up my letters and taped them off with painters tape.

- I covered one portion and painted the other with spray paint.
- I hot glued the letters to the board.
I decorated my mantle with this board, along with other gold and white accents.
I really do love how it looks. It is a great reminder of what this season is about.
