NewsPaper Wrapped Eggs

I wanted to do something different with those plastic Easter eggs this year. I bought a bag of the larger eggs, 6 to a pack, for 97 cents at WalMart. I have a large magazine with old newspaper articles in it, so thought I would wrap the eggs in that!
I tore out 2 pages, then cut strips 1/4 inch wide. I rubbed Mod Pog on the egg and started wrapping each strip around lengthwise and then the width, putting more Mod Pog as needed. Once the egg was covered, I smoothed the paper down and covered again with a light coat of Mod Pog ( WalMart sells it in the craft dept). Once the glue was dry, I then added twine, rope and old white buttons. I love the look and I can keep them out after Easter!
